Chloe
Skort

Looking for a Trend to show-off your toned summer body? For style inspiring ideas look to celebrities such as Olivia Palermo or Gossip Girl’s resident style princess Blake Lively. Shorts elongate your legs and are no longer just beach-wear attire. In the cooler months of the year there is no need to put your shorts away, team with opaques to guard against the wintry frost.
Abandon tight fitting styles instead opt for loose, lady-like styles, show casing your an edgy yet chic and classy look... remembering the number ONE rule in styling if your style is leggy express poise when choosing a neckline.

The Pencil Skirt

The ultimate skirt is The Pencil Skirt. It is the shape that flatters all shapes and bridges the generation gap, anyone can and does look great in the right pencil skirt. It should skim your figure giving your curve a prescribed precise amount of WOW!

A pencil skirt should finish on the knee or just above it for a sophisticated slimming silhouette. Miniskirts are for those among us with great pins (be honest with yourself!) and a skirt that finishes Mid calf is best on a tall figure with slimmer calves.

The Art of Finding the Perfect Pair of Jeans..

Joes Jeans |Item No. 1010367 | http://www.couturecandy/

Want a great pair of Jeans in your wardrobe? You are not alone...
Finding your perfect jean is like finding the soul- mate of your wardrobe, who will loyally accompany you on many adventures... and misadventures alike, from glamorous nights to the mundane every day.
Jeans can be glammed up with impossibly gorgeous heels and a heart stopping sexy top, or for casual chic look team your perfect jeans with comfy ballet flats, a simple crisp white tank, and a soft print scarf. You don’t need to be a stylist to be convinced of the positive features blessed upon the perfect jean, whose talents are only limited by your imagination.
Finding the perfect fitting jean is almost like setting out on a quest. Starting your quest with optimism and zeal is easy, however staying power is essential...obstacles may need to be overcome but your faith must not be broken, the perfect jean is out there.
Jean styling and fashion changes seasonally but a Dark Denim | Mid Rise | Slight Boot Cut | 5 Pocket Jean is a style that will stay a true friend throughout the ever changing fashion landscape, rushing to your aide solving almost any fashion emergency.
When looking for the perfect basic jean keep these tips in mind to make your jean quest effortless ... well easier anyway!  Assess each of the elements that make up a jean individually and bring a tape measure along, you will never look at jeans in the same way.
Fabric
Look for a fabric content which contain a little Elastane or Lycra as this will allow the jeans to mould to your shape, however too much stretch will neutralize the figure hugging properties esteemed upon the humble jean. 98% cotton 2% Elastane is the most common and flattering fabrication in the market place.
Wash
Darker denim is always the most flattering, for an even darker wash some styles are overdyed with a navy or blue-black dye to give the denim a richer indigo quality.
The Front Rise
This is the measure from the junction of the under seam to the top of the front waistband.
A Mid Rise is the most flattering to all body shapes; this will sit well below the belly button but high enough to feel comfortable.
Look for a measurement, between 20-23cm.
The Back Rise
This is the measure from the junction of the under seam to the top of the back waistband.
Please check that you can sit down easily without showing any cleavage, this should be a deal breaker as not being able to sit in your new jean can be limiting.
Look for a measurement, between 31-34cm
Knee Definition
A little shaping at the knee will give your legs shape and has an overall slimming effect.
Leg Opening
This measurement can change the overall silhouette and effect; a too wide leg opening can be shortening to some and will delegate this jean to predominately casual looks. Skinny jeans a fashion must-have, however “skinnies” do emphasise the curve of your hip... take comfort the right top will offset this.
But a slight boot cut will balance your hip waist bust ratio sliming and elongating your silhouette, making this jean a must-have basic for any modern woman’s wardrobe.
Look for a leg opening between 40- 48cm in total.
Pockets

Pockets are a science onto themselves especially the back pockets. Look for pockets that are larger in size, positioned too low and your bum will look long and sagging to high and the overall effect will be lost. The back pocket should be centred too far from the centre front seam and it will make your bum look flat and wide. To close to the centre front seam and this will emphasise the curve of your hip. For the final sculpturing uplift the back pocket should be angled slightly inward.

Wishing you, best of luck on your jean finding quest.

Love your stylist xx
